You recently bought a TV set from a well know store in town. However, the TV worked fine for only three days, then it shut down for no reason. You went back to the store to talk to the manager but he was not available. so you explained the situation to the salesman but he was very rude to you and provided no assistance. Therefore, you left without a resolution.
Write an email to the store’s manager in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:
- State the problem you had with the TV you bought.
- Complain about the rude behavior of the salesman and the bad customer service.
- Describe how you want the store to resolve the problem to your satisfaction.
Dear manager,
I am writing to complain about a TV set i purchased at your store 2 weeks ago. My name is Gorges Lucas and i bought one your flat screen television sets on september 25th. I looked forward to buying this device at your store beacuse it has such a good reputation. The tv was working fine the first couple of days but then problems started to appeared.
First of all, the TV will not turn on anymore, it shut down for no reason 3 days ago and now i can't have it to work again. I did some troubleshooting myself only to find out that the item i acquired from your store is nothing but a disappointment. Now i cannot watch the local news before leaving my home to work and my children cannot watch their favorite tv shows after school. You can imagine how frustating that can be for single father with 2 children.
i returned to the store immediately to explain you my situation but since your were absent at that moment i had to discuss the whole matter with one of your sales agents which by the way happened to be very rude. Your representative did not show any kind of signs of good customer service skills and on top of that he could not resolve my problem. Instead he informed me that my device was not covered under warranty. Imagine how upset i was when i learned i had to pay to have my item repaired even if it is brand new.
I do not think that is fair considering the fact that i had been a customer of yours for more than 20 years.
Therefore, i demand a replacement for the item and i would like to have it delivered at my house as soon as possible. I look forward to a resolution for this matter.
