CELPIP writing task 1

A few days ago, you reserved a table at a restaurant with a great reputation in your city. Unfortunatly, the food and service you received were both poor and nobody at the restaurant was available to resolve your situation. Write an email to the manager of the resaturant your email should do the following:

-Describe the issues you experienced with the food

-Complain about the poor service you received

-Say what your would like the restaurant to do.

*total:150-200 words.

 Dear sir/ madam,

 I am writing to complain about  the poor quality of the food and service at your restaurant. My name is Silvia Dupon. Last week my family and i reserved a table at one of your restaurants located in the city of Montreal. We were looking forward to eat there because your restaurant has such a good reputation. Unfurtunatly we did not have a good experience.

First of all ,there were several problems with the food.  We ordered chiken lasagna but instead we got chiken with vegetables on our plates. I think that a dish called " chiken lasagna would have some pasta and cheese on it spcecially if it costs almost $50. In addition the meat on the mother's dish was uncooked we were albe to tell becuase there was blood on it. Also the hanburgers that my children ordered were cold

Moreover, when i tried to complain to one of your waiters, i was told that if i did not like the food here that i could eat somewhere else. In my opion that is called "lack of customer service. i do not think is fair to treat customers in such a rude way. So imagine how frustrated we were when we learned that we still had to pay for a service we did not receive. i highly recommend that you have your staff better trained so situations like this do not become a habit.  I am very disappointed with both the food and the service i have received from your restaurant therefore i demand a full refund for the food i purchased from your restaurant. Please conctact me once the refund has been applied to my card, otherwise i will escalate the issue to a higher level.
